มหาวิทยาลัยได้กำหนดมาตรการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรน้ำ โดยเฉพาะในการก่อสร้างอาคารใหม่และการปรับปรุงอาคารเดิม เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development) และการใช้น้ำอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยพิจารณาเลือกใช้สุขภัณฑ์และอุปกรณ์ประหยัดน้ำ ดังนี้ 1. เลือกโถสุขภัณฑ์ที่ใช้น้ำในการชำระล้าง ไม่เกิน 6 ลิตรต่อครั้ง และแบบที่มีระบบชำระล้างแบบสองปุ่ม (Wash Down Dual Flush) ที่สามารถเลือกชำระแบบเบาหรือหนักได้ตามความเหมาะสมในการใช้น้ำน้อยหรือน้ำมาก เพื่อช่วยลดปริมาณการใช้น้ำในแต่ละครั้ง 2. ก๊อกน้ำ ฝักบัว และโถปัสสาวะชายระบบฟลัช เลือกใช้ที่มีอัตราการใช้น้ำไม่เกิน 6 ลิตรต่อนาที รวมถึงก็อกน้ำแบบระบบอัตโนมัติ ซึ่งช่วยควบคุมการเปิด-ปิดน้ำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ลดการสูญเสียน้ำโดยไม่จำเป็น มาตรการดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการส่งเสริมการใช้ทรัพยากรน้ำอย่างคุ้มค่าและเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยให้ความสำคัญและดำเนินการอย่างต่อเนื่อง

In 2024, the university implemented water conservation measures, particularly in the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing structures, to align with the principles of sustainable development and promote efficient water use. The measures focused on the selection and installation of water-saving sanitary fixtures and equipment as follows:

1. Toilets: Selected models with a maximum flush volume of 6 liters per use, including dual-flush (Wash Down Dual Flush) systems that allow users to choose a light or full flush according to need, thereby reducing water consumption per flush.

2. Faucets, showers, and urinals: Installed flush systems and faucets with a maximum flow rate of 6 liters per minute, including automatic sensor faucets, which enable efficient control of water flow and minimize unnecessary water loss.

These measures form part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly water resource management, ensuring that water is used responsibly and efficiently.
