ในปี 2567 มหาวิทยาลัยมีการปลูกต้นไม้ในพื้นที่ของมหาวิทยาลัยโดยคัดเลือกชนิดของไม้ที่เป็นพืชทนแล้ง เพื่อลดการใช้น้ำดังนี้

1.มหาวิทยาลัยมีพื้นที่ป่าปกปักษ์ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ป่าถาวร จำนวน 50 ไร่ มีพันธุ์ไม้หลากหลายชนิดที่เป็นพืชทนแล้ง เช่น ต้นตะเคียน, ต้นกระบาก, อินทนิล เป็นต้น

2.มหาวิทยาลัย มีการจัดกิจกรรมการปลูกต้นไม้ในวันสำคัญ โดยคัดเลือกพันธุ์ไม้ทนแล้งมาปลูก จำนวน 2 ครั้ง
ครั้งที่ 1.วันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2567 วันปลูกต้นไม้แห่งชาติ ปลูกต้นชัยพฤกษ์ (10 ต้น) ที่โรงยิมปิดและถนนทางเข้าสระว่ายน้ำ
ครั้งที่ 2. วันที่ 27 กันยายน 2567 วันเกษียณอายุราชการ ปลูกต้นยางนา (1 ต้น), ไม้แดง (1 ต้น) บริเวณริมสนามกีฬาศักดิเดชน์

3.การปลูกต้นไม้ ในงานก่อสร้างอาคารใหม่และงานปรับปรุงอาคารเดิม มี 2 กิจกรรม ดังนี้
กิจกรรม 1 งานก่อสร้างหอพักนักศึกษาหญิง ปลูกชัยพฤกษ์ (16 ต้น), เหลืองอินเดีย (21 ต้น), วาสนา(3 ต้น) ต้นสารภี (2 ต้น), ต้นหมากเม่า (1 ต้น)
กิจกรรม 2 งานปรับปรุงสโมสรนักศึกษาและลานกิจกรรม อาคารคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ ปลูกต้นบุนนาค (1 ต้น)

In 2024, the university undertook tree-planting activities on campus, selecting drought-tolerant species to reduce water consumption, as follows:

1. The university maintains a 50-rai protected forest area with a variety of drought-resistant tree species, such as Takian (Hopea odorata), Krabak (Lannea coromandelica), and Indigofera.

2.Tree planting activities on significant occasions, using drought-tolerant species, were conducted twice:

Activity 1: 22 May 2024, National Tree Planting Day — 10 Chaiyaphruek trees (Cassia fistula) were planted near the indoor gymnasium and along the road to the swimming pool.
Activity 2: 27 September 2024, Retirement Day — 1 Yangna tree (Dipterocarpus alatus) and 1 Mai Daeng tree (Xylia xylocarpa) were planted near Sakdidej Stadium.

3. Tree planting associated with new construction and building renovation involved two activities:

Activity 1: During the construction of the female student dormitory, 16 Chaiyaphruek trees, 21 Yellow India trees, 3 Wasana trees, 2 Saraphi trees, and 1 Makmao tree were planted.
Activity 2: During the renovation of the Student Union and the activity plaza at the Faculty of Humanities building, 1 Bunnak tree was planted.
